I know a lot of people say that White is the Signature Apple Color. And it does look GREAT. BUT, I love my Black MacBook.

Black hands down, looks so slick ;D

I like both the black and the white. But I got the white because $200 more for 30 gigs seems kinda pointless. Can upgrade the hd on the white one to that for cheaper

I love my black Macbook. My sister likes her white Macbook, so it's entirely a personal choice.

Oh, and my hands look weird on the white Macbook since I have darker skin

I love black, but I'm not paying extra money for some more HD space. Instead, I just added the extra HD on the white one (via Apple store), and it still ended up cheaper than the black one. Then, with the money I saved, I bought some extra RAM for it. I also bought a cover for the white one so that it won't get too dirty. I think the fingerprints that get on the black one would bother me more. Anyway, although I love the black colour, the white one is a better price, imo.

If you want to make sure EVERYBODY knows you own mac, then get white. If you want something sleek and stylish, then get black.

I like both - my mate has the black one, I got a white one (we spend so much time goofing around with our computers we didnt want to get them mixed up. It would be awfully embarassing to come home with his laptop).

Also the white is cheaper - for the pennies I saved I'll get 2 gigs of ram and a whomping 250gb hdd.

Sure is an improvement over the g3 imac with its paltry 20gb drive!

i got the white solely 'cause i can't justify paying that much more for a colour change and a slightly bigger HDD. i don't understand why white "is apple" a lot of apple products are not white. most people i know with ipods have black ones, and all the older apple stuff was (like all computers) that beige colour. although in my opinion, the black ones look a LOT better.

Yeah, I definitely own as many black things as I can (iPod accessories, clothing, cases, etc.), but I decided to just go with the white macbook and have even more specs than the black one does, but for a cheaper price.

i have the white one because it's the original colour. The black one is not bad either. However, for the same specs, Apple askes for way too much money for the black one compared to the white one... Personal thoughts.

i have a white one and love it.

there are problems with both:-
white - gets dirty easier (or shows it at least) but is easily cleaned.
black - doesn't show dirt but will show rub marks where you use it a lot.

why pay more for practically the same spec machine which is a different colour?

I have a blackbook, my g/f has a whitebook... Black looks sexier and white looks more Apple-distinctive.
