Thread: IBOOK G4, EXE files and DC ++
04-20-2004, 03:15 AM #firstname.lastname@example.orgGuestIBOOK G4, EXE files and DC ++
I have just bought my IBOOK and are having some download problems. When I had a PC I used DC ++ (direct connect) to download mp3, movies and so on. When I tried downloading DC ++ to my IBOOK i couldnīt open the setup exe.file. I also experienced this when I tried to download the music program Audiomulch. How can I solve this problem? Cannot IBOOK read exe.files? Or: What program on my IBook can be used to open exe.files?

Macs don't use .exe files. If you just download the mp3 you can open it in iTunes.

Hi, I wonder why when I used the DirectConnect for Mac... the download speed is always around 400k in my university network. but before I switched to Mac, I was using the IBM P4-M laptop, the download speed could be up to 8MB. I wonder if this is normal.. or something wrong with my setting in DC.
