I have been trying to add pictures to my SD from my macbook air. I haven't been successful. Please Help!

My wife's 2010 MBA doesn't have an SD card reader the way my MBP does, but of course I could just attach a card reader to it via USB.
So in either case, here's how I'd do it:
1. Insert SD card into reader or USB card reader.
2. Card mounts on desktop like an external drive.
3. Open iPhoto, select photos, drag to card.
That's pretty much it. You might need to resize the iPhoto window so that you can see the card image on the desktop.
