Keyboard, track pad and USB port stopped working

Suddenly on my MacBook Air 11,6” A1370 2011 model the keyboard, track pad and right USB slot stopped working. Tried resetting NVRAM / PRAM and SMC – no effect. The keyboard just do not work during the boot. The only button that works is power on button. The USB port on the left is also not working. On another side USB port works just fine and notebook could be operated with external mouse and keyboard.

Does anybody has an idea, what it could be and how to fix?

Anything to this story that we are not being told? Such as the computer was dropped/bumped...liquid was spilled on it...or it was run over by a car??

If you tried an SMC Reset, an NVRAM/PRAM Reset...and that didn't help. The only other thing I might suggest is booting the computer from some sort of external device (external HD, or bootable USB stick)...just in case something is wrong/missing from the OS on the MacBook Air's internal storage.

Other than this...the MacBook Air may have had some sort of logic board failure.

I have to agree with Nick. It sure sounds like that MacBook Air decided to go for a swim!
