PC DVD works but not MAC DVD?
I have a late 2008 MacBook Pro 2.8Ghz Core 2 Duo/Mavericks 10.9.2. I just went to install Rocksmith but the MAC DVD only spins a few times then ejects. However, the PC DVD spins up and mounts (but obviously won't install). Any ideas? Thanks

Is this the Mac OS X install DVD of some description you describe as the MAC DVD? They are Dual Layer discs and Windows single. Maybe the drive is not a DL or perhaps is failing as slot loaders do have a high failure rate. If this is the Rocksmith DVD have a look at this thread from Apple Discussions:-
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

    Thanks Harry.

It's the MAC DVD that came with Rocksmith along with the PC DVD. I just found out I don't need to use either DVD's and instead I can use Steam to install it with the Activation Key only.
