I don't know if this has happened to anyone else or if I'm just having the worst luck, but I have already paid for 3 replacement chargers after the one it came with stopped working. I believe it quit working because the wires became loose right where the charger head and chord connect. After that I bought 3 more, two from baystars with a different tip head (it was square instead of an L-tip). Their first one they sent me lasted a few months but after a while it started to make a crackling noise in the charger head before it crapped out, again I feel because the wires became loose or were made loose. The second one I bought lasted barely a week before the same thing happened, except without warning. So I bought a third one from a different store returning to the L-tip believing the square tips had just bad wiring technique or something. Now my L-tip, after only a couple of weeks usage, is starting to crap out. It connects...then disconnects...then connects again. Sometimes it charges for hours, other times just a little bit before turning off. My macbook runs hot a lot of the time, I'm constantly working in Pro Tools or Logic Pro either doing music or post-sound projects. My question is am I having just really terrible luck buying replacement chargers or is my laptop running so hot burning out the chargers?

Don't take this to heart.... but the problem may be that you're buying cheap replacement MagSafe Adapter chargers instead of an actual Apple made one.
