PowerBook G4 12" 867MHz running Tiger (.4.11)
Today I booted it as normal, inserted the headphone jack and in iTunes selected Alphaville's classic 'Big in Japan'.
The audio played, but strangely. The singing was muffled, as if in the background and it seemed to echo. I removed the headphones and it sounded fine on speakers. I tried another pair of headphones and the same result ensued. I tested both in my BlackBerry PlayBook and they sounded absolutely fine.
I've tried to see if I've inadvertently changed a sound setting but I can find nothing. Does anybody have any ideas or is this the end of the road for listening to headphone music on my PB?
