What SSD's are compatible with 2011 macbook pro
I'm looking at a Crucial Technology 512GB m4 SSD 2.5" Solid State Internal Drive. Is it compatible with my recently purchased Macbook Pro? Here's the info: Crucial Technology 512GB m4 SSD 2.5" Solid CT512M4SSD2 B&H

    Thanks

    Doug P

Hi and welcome to the forum's.

You are correct with that SSD. As long as it is 2.5" you will be fine with it.

    Cheers

I'm wondering when the next increase in capacity is coming out to match, at a reasonable price, the 750GB drive I currently have.

WOW $$$ man. I just had a look at OWC OWCSSDMX480 480GB Mercury EXTREME Pro 3G SSD... in stock at OWC out of curiosity and this model 480GB is $800 as a 3G and the 6G was $1200. Is 480-500 not big enough for you ??
