Interested in a new MACBOOK Pro, but instinct tells me it is about time for a new release from Apple. Any rumors that a new MAcbook is coming in the near future?

    Specs:
    15" MBP '06 2.33 C2D 4GB 10.7; 13" MBA '11 1.8 i7 4GB 10.10; 21" iMac '13 2.9 i5 8GB 10.10; 5s & 5c
The current MBP has the fastest mobile i7 made by Intel already with the 2.66 in the 15". Until Intel can put out a 4 core mobile i7 above 2 Ghz, I can't see an upgrade coming in the MBP line. Can't see many folks that would opt for a 4 core 1.86 instead of the 2 core 2.66.

Thus, imho, no upgrade for the MBP line for awhile yet.

Totally agree, the MacBook pro's out there are some of the fastest notebooks on the market so I can't really see why Apple would update them right now. If I were you I would just buy it now otherwise you will always be waiting for the next new updated version.

a new MBP is coming. FS just dropped the price 50$, unheard of for MACs unless there's a new one coming.

i bought a 13 MBP last night for 1249, and now it's down to 1199. going to return it and wait for the new release
