Connecting MacBook Pro via HDMI cable to LG LCD-TV
G'day all from a new member in Australia.

I have just connected my MacBook Pro via a Mini Port to HDMI Adaptor to a LG LCD-TV and can see the desktop background but nothing else?

Why am I not seeing the programs I've opened on my MacBook on my TV?

Also the mouse pointer disappears of my computer screen from the right of screen & appears on my TV?

I would really appreciate some advice as I have not been a Mac user for long.

    Thank you.
