transferring books from iBooks to my macbook pro

Is it possible to transfer the books I bought on the iBooks app to my macbook?

Your purchases will be backed up to your Mac when you sync with iTunes.
If you're wanting to read your iBooks ebooks on your Mac, there is no app at this time that will open them that I am aware of.
Even if you delete them from your iDevice, they can be re-downloaded whenever you need. In my experience about 30 seconds on wifi and 45-60 when I've used 3G on my phone.I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
