Hi guys

I owe a JanSport Laptop vertical messenger bag and the flapping part of it closes with 3 small magnets the size of a nickle.

JanSport - Product Detail for CURBSIDE

In that bag I carry alot of equipement like my Iphone, my Canon sd780 and ofc, my macbook pro 13". The bag was meant to carry laptops so I suppose theres no harms the magnets can cause to my equipement, HDD of my macbook pro mostly. Can any1 clarify on confirm that?

Thanks

If it's built for laptops, you're going to be safe. The power of the magnets is going to be low and unable to penetrate into the devices.

thanks, feel better now hehe

I actually made a small test with a quarter. Attraction force seemed pretty strong on it when I was putting coin facing both magnetic parts, but on the other side of the magnet (inside the bag) had no attraction at all. So I guess it's either shielded or polarized on 1 side only.
