well, that just about says it all.....I want to open and play my music files in QT instead of iTunes. iTunes is the default player so how do I make QT the default player instead of using "open with" every time?

thank you!

This is actually pretty easy. Click once on one of the files that you want to open in QT. Either press Command and I simultaneously or right-click and choose Get Info. In the window that appears scroll down to the "Open With" section and choose QT from the drop down menu. Before you close the window click "Change All". Repeat the process for each type file that currently opens in iTunes that you want to open in QT.
