    More ram for iBook G4
Well I would like to get more ram for my iBook but I dont know where it is located in a mac notebook or where would be the best place to buy some ram for these computers.

It is a Mac OS X. Processor - 1.33 GHz Powerpc G4. Memory - 512 mb built in. It also has a slot for more memory. Startupdisk - Macintosh HD

    It is a powerbook 6,7.

    Empty memory slot is DIMM1/J7

What is the maximum amount of ram I can install?

    Specs:
    15" MBP, Core i7/2GHz, 8GB RAM, 480GB Crucial M500 SSD
Take a look here. Use the Memory Selector tool to find your model. That should answer your questions.

As far as the actual process, it's very simple. Here's a video.
Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

Your iBook is one of these models

You can max it up to 1.25 GB with a 1 gig module (OWC sell them) - see link in the RAM section of the above spec pages

There is a guide on how to do it here (they also sell parts)

So I can buy this and reach my max? I am surprised it is so cheap. I was expecting to spend 200+ dollars!
