Upgrading Built-In Speakers

I have a Macbook, listen to music on it a lot. It's just the speakers are kinda crappy. I was wondering if there are any built-ins anyone else has tried that I could swap them with? I have external Creature II's but the portability of it actually being a part of my laptop would be nice. Thanks!

All built in speakers regardless of make are not going to sound as good as external ones. Even if you were to find a "better" pair, removing the old ones and replacing them might not be worthwhile. And, every time you rip into your machine you run the risk of breaking something. Use your external speakers even if you have to lug them around.

I would recommend looking into getting a nice pair of headphones if you want portability.
