I'm thinking of getting an iBook sometime, but I'm debating between within the next 4 months, or near years end or even early next year. One question I had was if I waited 'till next year, will iBook's come with the new OS X (Tiger I believe) instead of Panther?

If Tiger comes out, you can be sure that in about a month after it comes out it will be on all new hardware. That is if you get the hardware from an Apple store. The other vendors may have old stock on hand.

Think the price for the low end iBook will still be around $1200 CDN?
