So my University store has both the 2.53 and the 2.66 Macbook Pros. I'm planning on purchasing one of them but am quite unsure of which one. In all honesty, the 2.53 will be plenty for my needs, but the difference is only $170 (I'm not listing the actual prices because the university is super touchy about this stuff). Any thoughts?
Oh and to preempt being scolded by the moderators...I did search for other threads but none really matched exactly my question :)

I would think there is any difference for the user. There will be data somewhere that says it's 0.5% faster but the 2.53 is fast as ****, keep the cash IMO.

Agree - I don't think it's worth it unless you are going to be running super CPU hungry programs and still then, you won't notice that much of a difference.
