Hi, I have a Macbook I believe mid 2007 version, I am trying to connect to my HDTV (Samsung LE32R88BD)
The TV has an Optical input and HDMI inputs, I have used a MiniDVI-DVI, DVI-HDMI Cable and also a 3.5mm to Toslink optical audio cable
When I connect these the picture works fine (LOOKS GREAT) but the audio for some reason once I hook the cable to the Audio jack it automatically mutes my macbook and thus I am unable to hear any sound from the TV
Any help would be really appreciated as I have searched allover and not been able to find specific help
