Hi,
New to the forums, and I know this information is probably out there somewhere and I don't know where to look.
I have an iBook G4 12" 1064MHz (bought it mid 2005 on clearance so I'm guessing it's an '04 model). It had a little mishap and I need now to replace to logic board (it's dead and not coming back). I found a bunch on eBay and also iFixit and I was wondering:
1. What are my options? Must I use the same logic board, or can I 'upgrade' to the 1.2 or 1.33 iBook G4 12" boards?
2. Are there better venues for obtaining logic boards than those mentioned above?
I'd like to have this thing working again as I use it for my PSP homebrew development, and 12" is nice and portable so I can take with me on the subway without having to get bumped by others using it.
TIA,
Anthony
