My brand new macbook [dead pixel?]

My macbook is 2 days old counting today. I just noticed a little super small purple dot. Looks like one pixel in my screen its always there, is there any ideas to get rid of it?

sounds like it is a bad pixel. I would take/send it back and get a new one.
