    alright so i just inserted a dvd into my mb, and apparently the disk is too scuffed to be read. i hit the eject button, but it won't spit the disk out! what gives?

    Specs:
    MacBook Pro 2.2ghz, 3GB, 250GB - 16GB White iPhone 3G - 2nd Gen 1GB Shuffle
    Turn off your computer. Then Press and hold the eject key while turning it on. It will eject it. If it doesn't then you might need to get it fixed.

    i got it to eject, but is that normal?

    My macbook pro does that all the time with the ghetto one dollar dvds i buy in china.

    Every once in a while a messed up CD/DVD will do that. Rare overall but it does happen.
