Gigabit Ethernet in B&W case help

I have a Gigabit Ethernet G4 1GHZ built into a B&W tower case. Everything works just fine but one thing. The front power button isnt working to turn on or off the machine. I am using the B&W keyboard with a power button on it to turn on the system. I want to get a new Apple pro White Keyboard and I dont think they have a power button on them. Can anyone tell me how to get the front button on the tower to work or another wat to turn my system on from a power down if I get the new keyboard?

Some of the Gigabit Ethernet G4's had a problem with the power button burning out. The board is pretty expensive. The cheapest I seen was $90. Here is a link to an article about the bad boards and a site that sells the board.

Unless you are willing to spend the $$$, you may have to keep the keyboard with the power button connected just to power up. I keep my Mac under the table, so I could place a second keyboard on top of the case and it wouldn't be noticeable.

Yeah I could do that too, but like I said mine is just the Gigabit logic board in a complete B&W case. I'm not sure if its even connected to the board or not for that button. There is one ribbon cable in the case I have no clue what it went to, and some unused ports on the logic bord itself that could be something. I just dont know.

I also suspect the original front panel board for the B&W is in this case still. The unused conectors seem to lead to that part. One is a FAN type 3 pin plug, the other a ribbon cable type. Looking a the front panal board on that yahoo store site it could be those comming from it. Anyon eknow if the Gigabit board will fit in its place? They look the same from the front. The case that is, all the buttons are in the same place.
