Hello.
I've been considering purchasing a G5 sometime next year, configured specifically for Apple's Production Suite, but ATI has me baffled...
The cards Apple sells for their G5s (at least the one's i'm interested in) are the Radeon 9800 XT and the Radeon 9600 XT, but I really don't care for the price of the 9800.
What frightens me is my Powerbook G4 that I'm using now is equipped with a Mobility 9700. ATI's website does not supply me with sufficient information to judge whether the card in my new, significantly more powerful computer, will have a better or worse card than my notebook!
For those of you more knowledgable, could you suggest to me which card my G5 should have?
