Hi

I would like to upgrade the memory in my 12 month old imac, and have been searching the web for best prices.
I have found some on Play.com but need help in making sure that this is the right type for my machine.

I have an iMac 24" intel core 2 duo 2.16ghz, with the standard 1gig of Ram. I would like to upgrade to 3gig and have seen the following:

2GB - SODIMM 200 Pin - DDR2 667mhz PC2-5300
1GB - SODIMM 200 Pin - DDR2 667mhz PC-5300

Would this be suitable for my computer.

Go with what Apple specs say for your machine. PC2-5300 is DDR2 RAM and usually PC-56300 is DDR RAM. What does System Profiler say the machine is currently using?

Go to 'About his Mac", "More Info' "Memory' and see what is installed and match that.
