hello all, my name is darryl from Denver Colorado and i just got my very first mac and although its not the newest machine out there, its one that i wanted. I have a iMac, the one with the 350MHz processor and the blueberry case. Its great so far, i hope the screen dosent go on my like the ones we had in my high school...

I run this machine for internet browsing. i have an Alienware that does EVERYTHING and a toshiba laptop for my photography and a dell xps for my music and movies. this imac is great when i want to get away from teh PC's and enjoy a fun machine. i look forward to the great knowledge from u guys! thanks in advance :)

Well that mac can run OS 10.3 quite well. But I agree most people just have OS 9 on them.

512 mb, but from looking in the About This System menu, it looks like there are 2 slots, so would upgrading help? i figured since it was so old it would bog down either way, but could it really help?

Maxing our the RAM would put a smile on your face. OS X loves Ram and a happy computer puts a smile on your face. Very inexpensive to do - Happy New Year by maxing or your machine.
