I went and bought that imac 5g isight 2.1 with 1gb ram off ebay . How fast will it run leopard compared to my current macbook 2.0 1gb ram. prolly a little slower but how much, would it be frustrating slow? and would the current mini run leopard faster? Its for my non mac using family and a new imac was too much and i could really seeing them like the camera which is why i didn't get the mini plus i don't have an extra good keyboard and mouse but do have a spare monitor.

I own a 20" iMac G5 iSight 2.1Ghz. It runs Leopard very fast and smooth. My Intel Mini is faster in some ways, but the iMac is very fast and snappy with 10.5 installed. Up the RAM if you can and will be even smoother if you run a lot of applications at the same time.

I would guess that they would be about the same for most things. The current Mini might feel a little faster at some things due to the dual cores, but it would also feel a little slower at some things due to the integrated on board graphics. So, I think you will find your iMac to be just fine!
