    G5 Firewire
    I am looking to add a PCI-X firewire card to my dual G5 1.8 Any suggestions on which ones are the best? I do alot of HD editing....

    Doesn't the dual 1.8 come with Firewire ports already? If so, why not just buy an external Firewire hub? I have done this very thing and it works great - it will probably cost you less money too, and it definitely be less of a hassle.

    Imac 27", 3.3GHz, 512 flash storage, 16GB memory, macOS Sierra.
    Assume you are having Firewire problems, as many G5's seem to do, looking for a card?

    Belkin have an excellent reputation. Install the card in slot 3 and you should be away.
