That model iMac has one of the oddest ram requirements ever made. You can easily replace the PC2700 200 pin SO-DIMM chip. There is a second factory installed chip which Apple says you can't replace, but if you have Teh Skillz that slot is a PC2700 184 pin chip.
Regardless, the header of that ad refers to "Apple Powerbook G4 iBook 12" 15" 17" iMac RAM" which of course is absurd. The G4 Powerbooks used several flavors of chips, ditto the iBooks, and even more so the iMacs. There must be a dozen types of chips for that description! Be careful out there!
