    serial ports, is there any?
    Well i'm about to order my second imac (last one was a lemon and sent it back) and i have a small graphics business and i need to be able to hook up a USB cable AND a serial cable from the computer to my vinyl cutter (decal printer), i cant remember if imac's have a serial port for this so does anyone know how i can do so? Thanks.

    Nope they dont have a serial port.

    There are none on the machine, but you can get USB to RS-232 converters. Here are a few links:

    Hopefully one of these will do the trick. If not, Google "USB RS-232" and keep following the pages of links until you find what you want.
