I use a set of Bose Companion 2 speakers. They are an excellent trade off between size and sound quality (very good by the way). In addition, they have two inputs, which means you can hook them up to your computer and if you so wish, connect them directly to your iPod. I do this, and I swear they sound even better playing directly off the iPod than thru iTunes off the Mac. Either way, you can't go wrong.

At Amazon.com, you can pick up a pair of these speakers for about $100.00.

As always when I endorse a commercial product, I must state that I am in no way associated with Bose, just a very happy customer.

hi

both these sound great

this afternoon i went out and got a good deal on JBL creature 2's

i went to one store where they were twice the price but they price matched the first store, so i'm really happy. i paid £35.00 when they are normally
£70.

would i be able to hook the ipod up as well as the mac?

kind regards
