Thats basically what I got. I was in your position a week or two ago. I dwelled over it a lot and came to the conclusion (asking friends and forums) 2.16 and 2.33 isn't that much difference but shelling out unneeded money. However, I put in another stick of RAM to be able to access more apps at once. I think the money you put into the RAM is better then processor speed, especially if its so insignificant. I didn't get any AppleCare cuz I feel its a rip-off (I know, I'll probably have a machine breakdown), but its ridiculous how much buying a "just-in-case" warranty is. With that couple hundred I could buy more ram. My decision with the hd was the same, I felt it wasn't worth that extra cash for a little bit of space. I can buy a external for less cash and more space. Weigh your options and I hoped this helps.

I was going to order a Corsair at Newegg but cost 10 or 20 bux more. I just got the apple one in case anything went wrong. If your getting more then 2gb and into 3, order it somewhere else.

Yeah, its really really expensive. I wanted to get 3gb of RAM also but a stick of 2gb isn't worth it rite now. Why don't you try searching some sites like buy.com, newegg, and bestbuy or something.
