    How to make my imac version 10.4.4 faster
    is there a way to speed up the comp without buying hardware? any tips?

    delete any unnecessary apps you'll never use.

    Clean out your trash can whenever there's something there.

    Delete anything you'll never need. Don't download something you know you won't use.

    Instinctively I wanted to say RAM, it's the easiest and fastest way to speed up your Mac, but no hardware...
