Yes. At best…this is a 2004 vintage computer (about 10 years old). And it's old hardware. Apple moved from PowerPC cpu's to Intel in 2006.

And yes…$235 is too much for this. These are selling closer to $100-$125 on eBay. And I remember one selling for $55 a while ago (but this is rare).

There is no 10 yr old computer worth more than ~$100.

$50 for mine maximum and the 1.8Ghz was the worst of the dual processor G5 PowerMacs. Wonder what 'factory recertified' means. You guys ever struck that before on so old a computer?
Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

That Factory Re-Certified got to me also. Apple surly would not re-Certify that old thing! and Agreed, there were many issued with the Dual 1.8 G5s.

To the OP, I would look for maybe the 1st generation Intel Mini. You might find one for that price and it would blow the doors off that Power PC machine and give you a more modern OS also.
