    Should I be worried?
Hey guys, my computer shut down when I woke it up out of sleep mode this morning, and said it was restarting because of a problem. I am just a little worried because I feel like I am beating my computer up lately editing Red footage raw in premiere and coloring in speedgrade.

I have a 2008 mac pro 2 xeon quad core processors at 2.8ghz with 26 gigs of ram and the mac edition nvidia 680 2gb video card.

It's old and feel like it could fail soon, so here is the error.

You need to post the entire kernel panic report so we can take a look at it. You didn't post enough of it for analysis.

BTW, most kernel panics are caused by hardware. You might want to check the 26 GB of memory you have installed as a start.

Memory looks OK and nothing unusual reported about the risers. But it may be your graphics card that's causing the panic. Pull it out and re-seat it. Or better yet, do you have another that you can substitute for test purposes?
