    What is the max possible ram for a 21' i5 IMac with a 2.7ghz processor.

    Specs:
    2011 13" MBP 2.3ghz, 8gig ram, OS 10.7.5
    Max ram is 32gig.

    Thank You for your answer. I've been looking everywhere and keep getting conflicting answer's. I look in some places and it says 16 and others 32. I just wanted to be sure before upgrading. the more ram the merrier.

    The deal is..."Officially" from Apple...the max ram on your iMac is 16gig. But folks have been successful upgrading it to 32gig. This occasionally happens with various computer models...definitely not the first time.

    Thanks that's great news. I use my little Mac to do a lot of video editing and the more ram I can have the better.
