    Are These iMac Temperatures Normal?
From the first day I got my iMac, after a few hours of use the top of the iMac was very hot to the touch.

Are these temps (in Fahrenheit) normal?

Appreciate the quick response. I knew ahead of my purchase last September that iMacs ran quite hot. And I do a lot of video watching on mine. So I guess all is well.

    Thanks, again.

In the computer world, 150ºf isn't outrageous, especially doing things like streaming video

    Specs:
    Mid-2012 MBP (16GB, 1TB HD), Monoprice 24-inch second monitor, iPhone 5s 32GB, iPad Air 2 64GB
The iMac uses CONVECTION cooling (ie the principle that heat rises) to keep fan noise and use to a minimum. It is PERFECTLY NORMAL for your iMac to feel very very warm at the back top of the machine. That's the heat ESCAPING.

    Hello friends
Where can I find my temp readings on my Mac. That is cool

No complaints on my Mac running hot. My Sony desktop ran a lot hotter.

"Huh?" what? You quoted nobody, so who are you saying "huh" to?

And by the way, are those iMac temps? Doesn't look like it to me.
