Time Machine gone AWOL since I changed wireless Networks?

I have been using a Time Capsule since September with no problems, initially via Ethernet cable but soon after via Wireless. I have just changed over to a new Wireless Network, and noticed that my Time Machine backups were getting delayed. On checking, I thought it might just need re-booting, but it didn't help. I have tried selecting the Time Capsule, but it can't find it anymore, I have even tried using the Ethernet cable, still can't find the capsule.

Is there anyway that I can get the Airport to re-discover the Time Capsule now that I am on a new wireless network, I have over two months worth of backups on the disk, that I can't even access now, when I try to enter my Time Machine is comes back with the message that it can’t be found?

I just had the same problem with a wireless printer - setting it up on a new network, new password, etc. What I had to do was reinstall the printer using the printer network utility. I suspect you're going to have to do the same thing with the Time Capsule - reinstall. Once it's reinstalled you should then have access to your previous TM backups. Here's a LINK that may help.

Thanks for the reply, I have looked at the videos, cannot see one about -'Re-installing' the Time Capsule, just how to install AirPort and then set it up.

I have re-installed my AirPort, but it still doesn't see my Time Capsule, how do I re-install the Time Capsule without losing my existing 2 months of backups?

If I uninstall the Time Capsule, won't it erase all of these?

What do I do to get this to work, is there a reset switch on the Time Capsule to go back to Factory settings?

Are you using your Timecapsule as your wireless router? If so you should see it in the left sidebar of finder.
I may not be understanding your problem but it may just be you need to renew your settings under Timemachine (which you can access either through the small clock icon on the top Menu Bar or through Preferences).

Hi Razormac,
I'm using the Timecapsule as a separate HD for backups, I'm sharing an ISP via a wireless router of my colleague upstairs.
The Timecapsule doesn't appear in my sidebar and when I go to the timemachine preferences, 'Select Disk' it doesn't find it wireless or when I have it connected via the Ethernet cable.

As far as I knew I just had it as a TimeCapsule to back up my iMac, there are two months of backups to date, I recently went over to a new network with a new ISP, one guy left the place where I live, so had to sign up with another guys network through another ISP.

What's the best way to get it working again, even if I have to lose the existing backups!
