Thread: SLi + CrossfireX in Mac Pro?

Now OSX doesn't support many graphics cards, while that mac pro can hold quite a few. I know that you can put a windows card in a Mac Pro and it will work in Windows, but not OSX (the Nvidia GTX480 for example) But what about SLi and CrossfireX. Would they work in Windows in a Mac Pro?24'' Intel iMac, 3.06 GHZ dual core processor, 4 GB ram @ 800mhz, Nvidia 8800 GT graphics card with 512MB of GDDR3 memory, 500 GB Serial ATA hard drive, 6 MB shared L2 cache.

SLI and Crossfire support is a function of the BIOS and chipset - that is, they need to be specifically implemented. And in the case of the Mac Pro, they are not.Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
