Secondhand Mac to run Adobe CS4: Advice please

Afternoon all,

I've been offered a G4 PowerPC for £60, but I'm not sure you can run CS4 on a PowerPC-based Mac.

What's my cheapest option to be able to run CS4 smoothly. Is it an Intel iMac (about £500 on ebay)?

CS4 will run on a G4, but not what I would call smoothly

You best bet is an Intel mac, or at least a G5, but an Intel would be better if the price is not that much different

You should be able to pick up a mac mini for around £300

Are Mac Minis really any good? I heard a few tales of hard drive faults being common.

I've had two Mac minis, one a G4 one an Intel. No problems.
