Is there an adaptor available to connect 24"LED Monitor to a Mac Pro?

Title says it all really.
My Mac Pro is a couple of years old and doesn't have the mini display port so is an adaptor available?

Yes you can. Is the video out connector on that a DVI port (about an inch or 2.5 cm wide) or mini DVI (about 1cm wide) - measurements are approx

Hi,

Sorry I don't fully understand your reply? Are you saying there IS an adaptor available?

You have not made it clear what monitor you are wanting to connect to.

I can only "assume" you are referring to Apple's newer 24" LED Cinema display that has only a mini displayport input.

Until perhaps a month ago, there was no adapter available.

Kanex now has one that will enable a computer connection, you can read about it here. Please note: the above Apple display will only accept 1920x1200 input.
