bluetooth and airport extreme for powermac g4?
powermac g4 has an internal bluetooth and internal airport card slot, but I don't think it works with the new 802.11 airport extreme cards (which is what I want to put in it), and what should I use for bluetooth?
    -thx

    Specs:
    Mac Mini Core i7 2012 | White 2009 MacBook 2 Ghz | 733 Mhz G4 Quicksilver
Bluetooth can be added with a cheap usb bluetooth dongle, mosr electronic stores do them

As for airport, a pci card might work

    Specs:
    iMac i5 2.7GHz, 16GB memory, OS 10.10.5
The FW800 model, and that model ONLY in G4 PowerMac, does have the internal slot for both and use both. Purchased a Bluetooth card from FastMac, do a Google, mine was on special at $29.00. Airport Extreme Cards are available for about $40.00. Make sure your Mac has both antenna leads fitted before outlaying cash.

The advantage over the dongle is wireless keyboard and mouse will perform so much better, no lost connection issues and even booting from disk which did require use of the wires keyboard and mouse.

Sleep is no problem with any key awakening.

Yes both the internal bluetooth card and airport extreme card work extremely well and much, much better that a dongle. When you open your FW800, there should be an antenna at the front of the drop down door with a light blue lead for bluetooth connection and a white lead for Airport Extreme Card connection.

Do a Google for FastMac and Apple will have information documents on the Airport Extreme Card which is usually available from eBay.
